DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Alameda County Fair is now recruiting volunteers! Join us for a fun\, family‑friendly experience while serving the community and earning official service hours and Awards. \n Event Dates\nJune 19 – July 12\, 2026\nVolunteer positions are limited and available on a first‑come\, first‑served basis. \n Volunteer Benefits\nVolunteers will receive: \n\nOfficial community service hours (including commute time)\nEligibility for the National Service Honor Award and other recognitions\nVolunteer appreciation items\, including:\n\nT‑shirt\, Hat\, Nylon bag\, Water bottle\nTwo free Alameda County Fair admission tickets\nFree parking on volunteer days\n\n\nVolunteers who complete 20 or more service hours on behalf of RISE will also be recognized by Rise and Shine Youth Leadership with an “Outstanding Volunteer Recognition Award”\n\nRegistration Instructions (Important): \n\n\n\nPlease follow the official Alameda County Fair volunteer registration process.\nWhen completing the registration form\, be sure to select “Rise and Shine Youth Leadership” as the referring organization to support our youth and community programs.\n\n\n\n Age Requirements\nVolunteers must be 12 years or older\nAges 12–15: must volunteer with a registered adult in the same shift\nAges 16 and above: good to go \n What to Expect\nThe Alameda County Fair offers a wide variety of attractions and activities\, including: \n\nFood and snacks\nRides and games\nPig races and small animal exhibits\nArts and crafts\nBotanical garden\nGuest services opportunities\nFireworks and drone shows\n\nThis is a fun\, educational\, and family‑friendly volunteer experience.
