Greeting Cards for Seniors 2021

Greeting Cards to Seniors Project! Many senior citizens are feeling isolated especially during the pandemic. We want to show that we care and our love to them by sending them our handmade greeting cards. Please join us on this ongoing project. It is very simple to do: you just draw something or create some crafts with bright colors, and write a few sentences to express you love and care. You may put down your name if you want. Please take a picture of your personal card and upload it to google classroom. We will print your cards and send them to our seniors.

The gallery below is a sample of the cards already created, with many more to be made. We thank all the students for their hard work and contributions, and encourage others to join in with the project!

Update on Nov 23rd, 2021 :

There are a total of 24 holiday cards have been collected for second round. We have printed a total of about 450 copies of the cards. About 250 cards have been sent to three senior centers: West Gate Villa, Thrive at Green Island and Sunnyview Manor. The rest of the cards will be sent to senior center  of Tri Valley.

The representatives of those senior centers were very touched by the beautiful pictures and warm hearts from our kids! We all appreciate our kids’ wonderful works!
