On the afternoon of December 20, 2024, the ‘Warm a Heart’ event, which was organized and arranged by RISE and SHINE Youth Leadership for the elderly at Edon Housing Senior Center in Dublin came to a successful conclusion.

This year’s ‘Warm a Heart’ event has received support from all parties. Almost 90% of the seniors came to the event site. Volunteers and special guests brought amazing performances, and seniors performed beautiful dance and Qi Pao show.

The newly electled Mayor of Dublin, Sherry Hu, joined the event. She not only presented certificates and trophies to the young volunteers who received various awards for outstanding contributions in the past year, but also gave a speech to commend and encourage students to make contributions to the community and to bring honor to Chinese Americans.

Although the ‘Warm a Heart’ event has ended, it has opened the curtain for the upcoming Christmas.
