Adopt-A-Street 2026

RISE SF is participating in San Francisco’s Adopt-A-Street Program and currently adopts 4 blocks along West Portal Ave, an important commercial corridor for southwestern San Francisco. Volunteers put their effort into beautifying the neighborhood by picking up trash. All RISE members are encouraged to participate. Supplies are provided.

Our Goal:

Keep a local San Francisco street clean of litter and debris
Make an impact on your local community by creating a cleaner urban space for fellow residents, visitors, and local businesses

Thank you to all RISE volunteers for participating in our first Adopt A Street cleanup for the summer. We filled 6 bags and made West Portal Avenue clean of litter.

Today, the San Francisco RISE team participated in the city’s One City Day, where volunteers around the city participated in meaningful service projects to make a difference in our community. Although we only had 6 volunteers, we thank everyone for putting extra effort in to ensure that the West Portal corridor is clean and pleasant for the large number of people that go through it every day.
