Alameda County Fair

The 2026 Alameda County Fair is now recruiting volunteers! Join us for a fun, family‑friendly experience while serving the community and earning official service hours and Awards.

 Event Dates
June 19 – July 12, 2026
Volunteer positions are limited and available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.

 Volunteer Benefits
Volunteers will receive:

1. Official community service hours (including commute time)
2. Eligibility for the National Service Honor Award and other recognitions
3. Volunteer appreciation items, including:
   • T‑shirt, Hat, Nylon bag, Water bottle
   • Two free Alameda County Fair admission tickets
   • Free parking on volunteer days
4. Volunteers who complete 20 or more service hours on behalf of RISE will also be recognized by Rise and Shine Youth Leadership with an “Outstanding Volunteer Recognition Award”

Registration Instructions (Important):

• • Please follow the official Alameda County Fair volunteer registration process.
  • When completing the registration form, be sure to select “Rise and Shine Youth Leadership” as the referring organization to support our youth and community programs.

 Age Requirements
Volunteers must be 12 years or older
Ages 12–15: must volunteer with a registered adult in the same shift
Ages 16 and above: good to go

 What to Expect
The Alameda County Fair offers a wide variety of attractions and activities, including:

• Food and snacks
• Rides and games
• Pig races and small animal exhibits
• Arts and crafts
• Botanical garden
• Guest services opportunities
• Fireworks and drone shows

This is a fun, educational, and family‑friendly volunteer experience.
