Help Our Elder is Rise and Shine Youth Leadership’s year-round program dedicated to supporting and connecting with seniors in our community. Throughout the year, our volunteers engage in meaningful activities that give seniors companionship, comfort, and joy, showing them they are cherished and appreciated.
As part of the RISE Help Our Elder program, our Warm a Heart initiative aligns with Tri-Valley City Serve’s “Adopt a Senior” event at the year’s end. During this special holiday effort, volunteers carefully select and purchase Christmas gifts, which they deliver to seniors at a celebratory gathering, creating a memorable experience filled with warmth and joy. This seasonal project within Help Our Elder brings together the spirit of giving with the importance of building long-lasting relationships with seniors, reminding them they are valued every day of the year.
