RISE initiated the Help Our Elders project to address the issues of increasing Anti-Asian violence during COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, RISE donated supplies (emergency whistles, toothpaste tubes, hand-sanitizers, and essential products) worth over $1,500 to the Center for Pan Asian Community Services, COSMO Health Center, Kottinger Gardens, and Asian Americans for Community Involvement. We have also helped fund a support community training for seniors.
