Rise and Shine Youth Leadership (AKA RISE) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized fro the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of California (“California Nonprofit Corporation Law”) and under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code for public educational purposes only.

RISE respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. Reading or learning materials are provided to support educational use for the students. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office websites at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, RISE will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed used the RISE service and/or the RISE website.
